Booking and Payment:

1. To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amounts to 10% for trekking tours and 30% for safari tours. (a) Full payment must be made at least 1 day prior to the tour start date.

2. Cancellations and Refunds:

(a) Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start date of the Kilimanjaro tour are eligible for a refund (-5% bank transfer charges). (b) For Safari tours, cancellations made 2 weeks before the arrival date are refundable. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the arrival date will not be refunded. This policy is due to the allocation of funds for lodge reservations and fees, which are subject to strict terms.

3. Changes to Itinerary:

(a) Pace Maker Adventures reserves the right to modify the itinerary in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or political instability. (b) Clients will be promptly notified of any changes to the itinerary.

4. Travel Insurance:

(a) It is highly recommended that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss or damage to belongings.

5. Participant Responsibilities:

(a) Participants are responsible for meeting all entry requirements, including obtaining necessary visas and vaccinations. (b) Participants are expected to conduct themselves responsibly, adhere to the guidance of the tour guide, and respect local customs and laws.

6. Liability:

(a) Participants are advised to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines provided by the tour guide.
